Andre S. Anderson-Thompson is a PhD Candidate in the School of Education at UC Davis. With over 12 years of experience in classroom teaching at K-12 schools nationally and internationally, Andre focuses his research on school models and methods that foster childhood innocence. His dissertation examines public Waldorf schools and whether the Waldorf methodology helps preserve and protect a childhood for Black boys.
